General Information

Turkey has been one of the world’s best economic performers in the post-crisis period. Join us for this landmark event and find out how Turkey’s success can be beneficial for your business! Besides meeting representatives of the Turkish business community you will be able to network also with your East European counterparties and learn about business opportunities in the CEE and CIS countries.

The organiser of the event, the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE) has been traditionally playing a bridge role between the emerging economies of Europe and the rest of the world. To emphasize the importance of Turkey for BACEE and its 45 members from 25 countries, the association has been decided to hold its 2011 Annual General Meeting and Business Forum in Istanbul.

BACEE organises the Meeting in association with the Capital Markets Board of Turkey, the Banks Association of Turkey and the Participation Banks Association of Turkey. The Event will be hosted by UniCreditBank, YapiKredi as venue sponsor and by Aktifbank as luncheon sponsor and supported by DEIK Foreign Economic Relations Board (DiŞ Ekonomik IliŞkiler Kurulu) and by Club Finans (Finans Külüp).

The Forum will provide excellent opportunities to learn about the recent developments in the economy and the banking sector in Turkey, Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe and the CIS in special panels organised along these geographical areas.
