IECOB Research Team: Adriatic-Ionian Macro-Region

The IECOB Research Team is a group of junior researchers organized and supervised by Professor Stefano Bianchini. The team focuses on critical and practical analysis of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region EUSAIR. Their research centers on the implementation of European Macro-regional policies, giving special attention to the development of human capital and the creation of mobility schemes and transnational educational frameworks. The Research Team played a pivotal role in IECOB’s contribution to the Public Consultation on the EUSAIR produced by the European Commission’s Directorate general for Regional Policy. The group seeks to follow political and social developments in the Adriatic-Ionian Macro-region with a keen and critical eye.
