Summer school

The CEI International Summer School (1995–2012)

From 1995 the Europe and the Balkans International Network, established with the University of Bologna, ran a yearly summer school for postgraduate students from Eastern Europe and the European Union. Until the ninth edition (2003) it was called Post-Communist Transition and European Integration Processes; from 2004, after ten countries of Central and Eastern Europe joined the EU, it became Beyond Enlargement. The Wider Europe and the New Neighbourhood. It ran under the umbrella of the Central European Initiative.
