Sei ragazzi e ragazze dai balcani visitano Modigliana

La KB accoglie la spedizione “We are europeans” per promuovere il dialogo fra l’Europa e i candidati all’adesione.

Nei giorni 25, 26 e 27 aprile 2011 la cooperativa sociale Kara Bobowski di Modigliana accoglie sei ragazzi e ragazze provenienti dai Paesi Balcanici nell’ambito del progetto “We are Europeans” promosso dalla fondazione polacca Robert Schuman e co-finanziato dal Programma Prince 2009-EU 27.

Since 1991, Russia has been searching for a niche for itself in the new European (Western) system. The various integrationist projects it has pro-moted in the post-Soviet space (Commonwealth of Independent States, Eurasian Economic Community, Collective Security Treaty Organization, Shanghai Cooperation Organization) suggest that it also seeks to create a system of its own there. This regional design, however, clashes with the European Union's regional policies such as the European Neighbourhood Policy and the Eastern Partnership. Tensions are heightened by the new in-dependent states as well, which often experienced periods of state weak-ness, economic instability and persistence of unresolved conflicts, exposing their vulnerability to external forces. PECOB's call for papers

The Scientific Board of PECOB announces an open call for papers to be published with ISSN 2038-632X

Interested contributors may deal with any topic focusing on the political, economic, historical, social or cultural aspects of a specific country or region covered by PECOB.

Potential contributors must submit a short abstract (200-300 words) and the full text, which can be in English as well as any language from the countries covered by PECOB.

Upcoming deadlines for submitting proposals are:

January 31st, 2011
June 30th, 2011
November 30th, 2011

All texts must comply with PECOB Submission Guidelines (www.pecob.eu).
